The Online Master Level Program contains four consecutive Modules of study. Each Module builds on the previous learning experience to provide participants with the skills to implement TCM diagnosis and treatment protocols in their current practice while offering the flexibility to choose an independent mode of study. Each lesson defines a reading assignment and walks participants through an objective oriented curriculum with discussion questions to enhance the learning experience. Participants are tested at the conclusion of each three-hour course of study to assure core competencies are met prior to moving forward. Final exams are conducted on campus at the completion of each Module.
Your weekly study load will average 40 pages of reading, 5-8 patient-visits with online consultation, 2-3 hours of online discussion, quizzes and homework. Compare the expanded nature of the IIOM program to other workshop costs, traveling time and expense and we think you will see the Online Master Level TCM Program gives you much, much more in value.
All the Chinese Medicine Online Training Program contains the following six key elements:
Online Instruction
Reading and written assignments provide participants with the fundamental elements of TCM.
Online Discussion
Each participant actively contributes to on-going discussion, building an interactive knowledge base for all those engaged in the program.
Online Postings
Postings are comprised of written assignments and questions directly addressing the online discussion portion of the Program.
Testing
Results based education is evident through online quizzes and on campus final exams.
On-Campus Residency
Participants have regular access to TCM experts to refine hands-on technique and assure development of core competencies.
Online Clinic
The Online Clinic gives you the opportunity to work directly with the most experienced TCM physicians in this country—all from your home or clinic! Each participant who elects to utilize this unique program tool will submit an online clinic survey including the patient’s chief complaint, present symptoms, your initial evaluation, differential diagnosis and treatment plan. Our TCM physicians will evaluate your submittal and provide feedback. This unique and exciting tool allows you to immediately apply your TCM diagnosis and treatment skills while providing a valuable service to your patients. This unique program guides participants through a specific set of questions that follow TCM diagnosis methods and coordinates with your class text.
